Royal Golf Club Marienbad
Description
The Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně is one of Europe's most prestigious golf courses, having opened in 1905 in the presence of King Edward VII. Situated at an altitude of approximately 787 meters, the course is a classic parkland layout, nestled within dense pine and mixed forest. Narrow fairways, numerous bunkers, and precisely sculpted greens demand controlled play, making the course challenging without being unfair. In 2003, the club was awarded the rarely bestowed "Royal" title, underscoring its historical significance. The atmosphere is tranquil, elegant, and steeped in golfing tradition. Golfers appreciate the blend of sporting challenge and impressive ambiance.
