Sokolov Golf Club
Description
The Sokolov Golf Club Near Dolnà Rychnov in the Czech Republic is an extremely challenging 18-hole, par 72 golf course, built on the site of a former open-cast lignite mine. The gently rolling terrain, with elevation changes of up to 42 meters, offers wide fairways, large greens, and deep bunkers, presenting a real test for experienced golfers. The course was designed by the architectural firm Städler & Reinmuth. In addition, there is a driving range with covered tees, putting and pitching greens, and a modern clubhouse with a restaurant. Guests are welcome, but proof of a valid handicap is required.
