Now, with 5-star holiday apartments and a family-run premium hotel at the Bachhof Golf Resort Straubing, the Wolf family is setting new standards in golf tourism.

The 27-hole golf course at the Bachhof Golf Resort in Kirchroth near Straubing celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021. The resort is among the "Top Ten" in Bavaria.

Florian and Wolfgang Erhardsberger

A young, dynamic team that inspires: Brothers Florian and Wolfgang Erhardsberger are among the founders of the Golfland Donau & Partner interest group, which operates two of the most beautiful golf courses in Eastern Bavaria.

The Schlossberg golf course near the BMW Autostadt Dingolfing is the oldest 18-hole course in Eastern Bavaria. Its clubhouse boasts excellent cuisine. Just half an hour away lies Gut Fruhstorf – one of Germany's most popular courses. Both courses are owned by Florian Erhardsberger.

While Schlossberg is reminiscent of Tuscany, Gut Fruhstorf is completely flat and showcases the characteristic design of the 1980s. Both estates are among the best-maintained and most popular in Bavaria.

Bianca Decker

The golf course above Lake Eixendorf is managed by Bianca Decker. Located in the Upper Palatinate region, the course offers idyllic pitches for motorhomes and campers right next to the clubhouse.

The entrepreneur has a visionary outlook and is specifically focusing on golf holidays with motorhomes. To this end, she has created natural pitches directly adjacent to the golf course – with access to showers and toilets in the clubhouse.

Her success proves her right: the pitches are usually fully booked. Booking early is recommended.

Toni Staudinger

The operator of the world-renowned TCM clinic in Bad Kötzting invites guests to the new 4-star superior Hotel Sonnenhof in the health resort of Lam. The former Steigenberger Hotel has been completely renovated – today it is one of the most beautiful holiday resorts in Bavaria.

The hotel features its own Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) department and a unique 9-hole panoramic golf course. The view over the Lamer Winkel region and towards the Großer Arber mountain is truly breathtaking.

It is no coincidence that this district of Lam bears the name "Himmelreich" (Heavenly Kingdom). Here, golf, health and culinary delights meet at the highest level.
