Steigerwald Golf Club
Description
The Steigerwald Golf Club in Geiselwind offers a diverse 18-hole championship course on a high plateau in the Steigerwald Nature Park, combining sporting challenge with relaxing nature experiences. Designed by renowned golf course architect Don Harradine, the course boasts a varied layout: some greens are open with sweeping views across the Franconian landscape, while others are cleverly integrated into wooded areas. Golfers can harmoniously combine nature and the game across approximately 60 hectares of gently rolling terrain that remains easily playable. A public 6-hole short course is also available for shorter rounds or beginners. Modern practice facilities, including a driving range, pitching greens, and putting greens, complete the offerings.
